CASS is a non-profit that provides essential services for seniors: a home-delivered meal that includes a check on their well-being; transportation to the grocery store, a doctor’s appointment, the local senior center, or group outing. Additionally we coordinate programs and serve onsite meals at our Over-the-Rhine Senior Center and six community meal sites; we offer financial management for seniors unable to handle their finances or who are being exploited financially; and a Guardianship Assistance Program for seniors in nursing homes who have no family to oversee their care.
CASS delivers high quality and consistent services to meet the needs of seniors.
The focus of CASS is to deliver services to seniors that allow them to age with dignity and independence. Seniors want to be independent. They want to remain in their homes, surrounded by what is familiar to them, near friends and family. And, they want to be as active as possible. But, as they age, maintaining that independence can be a challenge. Home-bound seniors or those without family support or other resources need protection, security, and care options. Our Mission is to provide enhanced stability and safety for seniors who desire to remain independent by addressing their needs and providing accessible and relevant services.
CASS delivers tasty and nutritious meals to homebound seniors. Home-delivered meals offer the choice of a full menu, similar to going to a restaurant. Additionally CASS serves free meals at six community meal sites to seniors.
CASS offers safety and security through the Guardianship and Financial Case Management services. We advocate, promote and meet the needs of seniors by helping them obtain care management, counsel and financial security.
CASS provides individual transportation through our Senior Independent Transportation Program (SIT), a shuttle bus service that goes through downtown Cincinnati and group transportation to medical appointments, the grocery store, and social outings.
Senior Care Coordination
CASS brokers legal services and coordinates real estate benefits, medical care, housing and community resources. A Senior Care Coordinator, a one point contact will assist a senior and caregiver with all services that may be needed.
The CASS mission is to provide enhanced stability and safety for seniors who desire to remain independent by addressing their needs and providing accessible and relevant services.
